We had a spacious family room with an adapted bath and flat-screen TV. Breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, and a quality full English. I stayed at Wheyrigg Hall for two nights recently. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival and were very attentive throughout my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a roomy bathroom and great heating. I loved the food. every meal was delicious, especially the steak night, which was a steal. Breakfast hit the spot too. The garden area was a nice retreat to unwind in, surrounded by tranquil countryside views. A few minor issues popped up. the shower curtains could be longer to prevent flooding, and the rooms felt a bit too warm. providing summer duvets would enhance comfort. Despite these quirks, the overall experience was enjoyable, cleaner than I expected, and offered good beer choices.

I did experience a bit of a wait when I wanted to order dessert. It seemed they were short-staffed, which made things a bit hectic at times.
